Here are the WIP shots from my recent work for Beastworld's 2025 pinup calendar. I'd been reminded by the guys behind Beastworld that it was due soon at the start of this month which caught me by surprise. As a result, I spent most of my time from the 1st to at least the 20th of this month on her and considering the background and details I'm happy with the progress.
Interestingly this was the first pic I have ever done having used a 3D background maker as a reference for perspective and layout. I don't think I got the perspective correct fully but certainly without this software Ruby would have been quite delayed so it was a real godsend.
This sexy Red Squirrel babe REALLY caused a stir in the stream chat too haha and I must admit I'm really glad I was asked to draw her. She's a real gem. Also, putting my own take on the Broadgate University observatory was pretty fun too, I bet they got a good view through that thing. ;)
Overall I think this pic took AT LEAST 40+ hours. It was a mammoth task and I had to put everything on hold for it, but I'm pleased with her and glad I got the chance to make another calender piece for Beastworld.
