Happy New Year guys. I hope 2025 will be a good one for you and those you love also!
Before I start my update I'd like to thank you all for supporting me on Patreon over the past year, either with your monetary support, comments or likes. Being self-employed and not having any direct work within the latter half of 2024 was rough financially and while I don't make close to what I might need to stay afloat, your donations do help support me in smaller ways that I am appreciative of.
Looking back on 2024 I'd say I had a productive art year, even while I was working full time to get Background illustrations and marketing tasks done for the company I work freelance for. Really, June to September was full on haha, but once the project came to a close I was out of work for about three and a half months, which is why I took commissions and the Beastworld project.
I have felt my art is really going strong and speedy (for me at least) latley which is great.
I'm a little unhappy with my artistic skill level currently, and I no doubt need to do some practice but think some decent progress has been made with churning piece after piece out. So overall (despite mostly working on art) 2024 was a good year, and I am really happy I got as much art as I did finished.
That said, for 2025 it's a little early for me to give updates for the coming year ahead.
I certainly know for now that work (my illustration day job) will be starting next week and be full on. I've also made an ongoing application to attend Confuzzled as a full dealer for this year in May. Fingers crossed I get a slot which is currently being amended due to an issue with my initial application, really hoping they can iron it out and offer me a space.
Because of this, I'm planning on getting back to my pinup work in preparation for the convention, with a much-needed focus on my fox babes, Roza, Rada and Niina have not had much love recently and I know people will want prints of them.
In short I want to put my foot on the gas and get as much work done as possible, raise some money and begin to live on my own if things go well. I don't have plans to stop making art and I'll be sure to keep you guys updated when I can.
