HELLO and welcome to another Monday Post. I hope everyone is doing well. Over the past week, I saw quite a few posts about the new 007 game, but I care so little about it that I don't even have the energy to point and laugh anymore. Moving on to my wonderful proof-of-life post. ^_^
SHOP/GALLERY. This week's item is another favorite of mine from 2012. I like the fact that it still looks good despite everything being colored with flat colors. Just like with last week's piece, all I have is the high-resolution JPEG. No WIP materials of any kind survived for this one, unfortunately...
ROAD RASH for GBC. Out of pure curiosity, I booted up Road Rash for the Game Boy Color. Considering the console's limitations, my expectations were pretty low, but I ended up enjoying the game. It's not as fun as the SEGA Genesis version, but it's still fun to play. They even managed to preserve those fun little animations at the end of each race :)
GAMES. URBZ for GBA is my number one favorite game on the console. I absolutely love everything about it (and given the chance, I can gush about it for hours). Because of that, it's one of those games I boot up every few months whenever I feel like revisiting it. Anyway, yesterday, while I was taking a shower (in the game), the phone started ringing (also in the game). Apparently, it was a prank call. Remember those (in real life)? Did you ever get one? I did. And I remember making prank calls myself and then getting really worried afterward that the police would come and get me (I was like 10 🙂). During the same game session, I also got a call from my uncle from The Sims: Bustin' Out (another favorite game of mine). It was a nice moment because it actually made me want to boot up that game and go visit him XD.
HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO ME. I finally got the Trails of Cold Steel 1 artbook that I ordered for my birthday. (Thank you, Mr. Lazare, for financing it.) The book is basically brand new and of very high quality. It was also extremely cheap, somehow XD. Anyway, I am super happy to own this one. It's full of fantastic illustrations, some of which were never even featured in the game despite being official artwork ^^.
AND THAT'S IT. Last week, I was busy with coding and writing. I will be doing more of the same this week as well. Still working on the Kimmy/Tiffany stuff. I don't really have anything else to add. Thank you for your patience and support, and I will see you all next Monday. Laterz. ^_^
