A possum caught himself gobbling up a couple of scallies
—Goobie and Rufus—already tangled up in each other, curled inside the possum.
“We’re really stuck?” Rufus asked, half-laughing.
“Guess we’ve got time for more cuddles,” Goobie grinned.
Smooches could be heard for hours.
