This is gonna be a short one
As per usual I work on the Statues game
The writing and the images and the booties and the boobies
Ok maybe too short
Let's add some filler and talk about something I've been debating.
Giving names to the Statues. Now don't get me wrong, they have names. But at the moment they're not shown in-game.
I've been going back and forth regarding this.
On the one hand giving them names makes them more relatable, more real, a touch of familiarity.
On the other hand it removes this layer of inanimate statue vibe. If they got names they become more "human" less statue.
I feel like this is one of those things where there is no right answer. It's just a different feeling. What do I want the player to feel.
A feeling of boinking an inanimate unfeeling statue.
Or something closer to a normal relationship.
Such is the struggle
