DESCRIPTION

Hey, all.  Here’s the regular Ranma Fanfic poll.  It’s a day later than I expected, but on the plus side, I should be done Alto Out There chapter 2 by Tuesday.  I’m 17,000 words in, so even if I can’t keep up that pace over the weekend it should be done by then and off to Hiryo for editing.

As an aside, I have seen that some of you have commented on mistakes and errors in the latest Stallion chapter. I will be going over and correcting those when Hiryo gets the chapter back to me, but RL has bit him on the ass, and I do not rush my editors if I can help it.

Anyway, the choices this month are:

Effect of a Horse and a Dragon – Ranma/Mass Effect crossover: While Ranma and his teammates have some down time and a few moral quandaries to work through, Herb and Wrex deal with Tuchanka in the only way a dragon prince and a bitter Warmaster can: punching it into submission.  The two different clans and a wild worm-like beast try to make trouble at around the same time that Ranma and Tali were hunting pirates was but the start.  A few traps and a journey across a wasteland worse than the rest of the planet follows, leading them to a hidden city under yet another series of mountains.  Further traps, and a story in stone greet them, followed by yet another clan trying to make trouble.  Diplomacy goes exactly as it normally does among krogans. A running battle shreds mountainsides and krogan pride alike as Herb more than exceeds Ranma’s kill count against the dinosaur-like aliens, while Wrex shows a bit of ki, startling Herb.  With their backs secure and Wrex actually reaching out to his clan for the first time in centuries, Herb and Wrex imitate Indiana Jones and go searching for history through even more traps, travails and more.

Heroes of the High Seas – My Hero Academia/One Piece crossover: The two couples and their friends settle into time aboard ship on a long voyage this time. Various antics and training occur, while both couples are warned to make certain their ‘coupleness’ is kept under wraps.  Garp takes a hilarious amount of joy in pounding Kirishima and Izuku into shape, becoming even more delighted by some signs he sees after several weeks of daily beati-training sessions. The ship is almost eaten by a sea monster too stupid to live, and a storm of sabers has Mei, Melissa and even Izuku pulling their hair out, before a actually calm night proves beneficial to Izuku and his new girlfriend. Nearly a month passes before they reach land once more, an island allied with the World Government, but one which is facing a very odd problem, one which mixes a Devil Fruit with the worst quasi-cultish nonsense.  Dealing with that however, is far more straightforward than trying to hide the worst of the World Government’s excess from Kirishima and Shoto, who prove to have noses for trouble, while Izuku and Kyoka run afoul of the local king for things that should have gone unheard.

Journey Gone Astray – Ranma/DC crossover: The quartet of young super-powered friends lend their efforts to the cleanup, which, thanks to Zatanna, the Flash and Prior Planning isn’t nearly as horrific as it could have been, although it is still horrible enough for Ranma, who quickly understand that with great power comes great responsibility, and he wasn’t very responsible this time. Kori becomes a hit with the locals now that she’s able to speak the local language.  Unfortunately for the JLA's resident paranoic, the local news agencies are quick to start interviewing the quartet, who have no training in answering their questions about the battle, and, in the case of Kori, no filter, although her particular powers do come in handy in keeping them from falling for a certain type of question.  This is all seen by Batman and several government officials, many of whom scramble, and a certain business mogul whose anger knows no bounds while all make plans, with only Batman able to enact his quickly that night, which does not go as planned.

Like I said in the Patron Ranma poll, Heroes joined this poll. Let’s see if  This is the last story I’ll work on this month, and will probably be cut off at the 16-19,000 mark.  I will… probably vote for Effect.  No matter how much I try to bitch and moan, I know I need to get the Herb centric portion over with, and then move on to more adventures, bring the crew together and so forth.  Regardless, the poll will end on the 25th.
