April Patron Poll

DESCRIPTION

Happy Saturday night, everybody.  I want to get April started right, and thus wanted to get the Patron Only Poll out quickly, so I can then jump on it just as fast.  This poll will go to the 5th.

First, though, I decided I liked the idea of shifting Heroes of the High Seas to different polls, since it doesn’t really fit with any of the existing polls, as it is caught up over on fanfic, and isn’t a HP or Ranma fic, obviously.  So from now on, I will shift it from one poll to another at the start of every month.

It will still be viable for the carry-over effect, though, regardless of which poll it is in.

I will use random six-sided dice generator using the site, https://rolladie.net/roll-a-d8-die, as I did last month.  Similarly, the numbers will correspond to the same poll as last time.

1-3 –Patron Poll

4 - 6 – Ranma Poll

I rolled a 3.  So Heroes will appear here.  Nice. But also that means it beats out King of Champions by one month in terms of when it was last updated.

Why no HP poll, you ask? Because hopefully, my FILFy muse will cooperate with me.  If King of Champions wins, I will go on to the Ranma poll winner first, then FILFy. If Climbing Together or Heroes wins, I will start work on FILFy once the patron poll winner is off to the editor.

Without further ado, here are the choices for April:

King of Champions – HP/RWBY Crossover: With events of the night before still reverberating, Ozpin attempts to put a positive spin on things for his students, succeeding well enough for the majority, but not so much for the minority, as Pyrrha is applauded for her efforts both in public and private (which she enjoys far more) and Ruby nearly has a breakdown about not being there for her team. Luckily her father helps her through it, and Harry after a most pleasant morning, resumes helping Professor Goodwitch put the campus back together.  Qrow goes searching for a dapper thief, and Mila for answers from Apacci, with neither having much success. A bloc officially forms among the freshman behind Harry and Pyrrha with neither in attendance, having headed in to watch Arturia.  Time passes, and on the same day a certain Ice Cream is spotted and Harry goes to talk with her, the Arc Matriarch arrives, looking for answers and a very large gun. Ozpin holds her off with difficulty, with James volunteering to do some espionage activities.  A healer finally arrives, offers are made to previously shady characters, and Harry and his mother meet with many of the freshman class, with Neo making a surprising offer for the rest of the semester, which flies by until the day Ozpin receives some news he had been expecting, if on a far larger and most unfortunate scale.

Climbing TogetherRanma/Street Fighter/King of Fighters crossover: A short jaunt across the ocean goes smoothly, with the three lovers arriving in Hainan easily.  Finding a place to set up the Toughness training doesn’t go so well, as Mai attracts unwanted attention.  This, however, leads them to create a slightly more sophisticated setup, unaware that the group they have already tangled with is connected to other, more dangerous enemies. This becomes readily apparent when Vega makes a return, nearly killing Shampoo and Ranma via ambush. Mai holds off the currently-unpaid assassin for a while.  Ranma and Shampoo, battered and bleeding, show up with rage in their hearts, only for Vega to once more choose the better part of valor after leaving Mai something to remember him by, swearing vengeance on Ranma and the two ‘flowers that must be plucked while they are still beautiful’.  This forces the trio to make a quick escape, with all three nursing injuries but in no mood or place to deal with the local authorities.

Heroes of the High Seas – My Hero Academia/One Piece crossover: The two couples and their friends settle into time aboard ship on a long voyage this time. Various antics and training occur, while both couples are warned to make certain their ‘coupleness’ is kept under wraps.  Garp takes a hilarious amount of joy in pounding Kirishima and Izuku into shape, becoming even more delighted by some signs he sees after several weeks of daily beati-training sessions. The ship is almost eaten by a sea monster too stupid to live, and a storm of sabers has Mei, Melissa and even Izuku pulling their hair out, before a actually calm night proves beneficial to Izuku and his new girlfriend. Nearly a month passes before they reach land once more, an island allied with the World Government, but one which is facing a very odd problem, one which mixes a Devil Fruit with the worst quasi-cultish nonsense.  Dealing with that however, is far more straightforward than trying to hide the worst of the World Government’s excess from Kirishima and Shoto, who prove to have noses for trouble, while Izuku and Kyoka run afoul of the local king for things that should have gone unheard.

As stated above, Heroes of the High Seas will get the Carry-Over effect of 322… we will see if that is enough.  Given Stallion of the Line will come back in for the Ranma poll, I don’t know if I will be voting for it, but we will see.
