Hey, all. Bit of a mix of an announcement and a poll.
First an announcement on FILFy or, as I have begun to think of it, the FILFy problem: With Nad Destroyer still not responding, I still need to go over the last chapter. However editing my own work is always a issue for me, as is just getting back into the DxD world. But I also don’t want to waste time on it until my muses are ready and there is time, and one or the other has been a major issue for months..
To that end, I’ve decided I’ll put Fate Touched on hold after the current arc is finished, and replace it with FILFy in the HP poll. This way, I have both time to let my muses resuscitate naturally, and two of the three fics in the HP poll will be within ten chapters of completion.
Yes, folks, Magic of the Force is that close to ending (9 to eleven chapters, depending on size). It’s not going to be a clean ending, there will still be tensions, issues and so forth facing the galaxy, but the main plot will have been dealt with, and I think that’s enough.
(It… might be legitimately hilarious if Magic is finished before FILFy just because it’s more popular. Haha….hah…ha…WHINE.)
Anyway, with that out of the way, my time this month is… WEIRD. So I know that I will have until next Wednesday entirely to myself. After that, it’s going to be way more difficult until after Father’s Day. SO I want to use the time I can to finish off one of the fic chapters this month quickly. And of course, if I’m going to do that, I will be finishing the Patron Poll. Obviously. So this is going to be a VERY QUICK POLL. Get your votes in now, people.
And we also need to see if the, Heroes of the High Seas will go in this poll, the HP, or the Ranma poll this time. Once more, I use https://rolladie.net/ to decide this. Rolling a nine-sided die, there are three choices. 1-3 mean it will join the Patron Poll, this one. 4-6 is for the Ranma Poll, 7-9 the HP poll.
… I rolled a two. Huh… This… it might have a chance of winning, with the HP votes split and getting the carry-over effect. Neat.
So here’s the Patron poll. As always, it’s a weighted poll, and the choices are:
King of Champions – HP/RWBY Crossover: Shocked and furious at the knowledge that the silver-eyed warrior wants to leave Beacon, Ozpin attempts to plug the gaping wound but far too late. After being lambasted by Yang and dealing with Ruby’s tears, Ozpin and Harry have a final talk, which goes nowhere, but ossifies their positions toward one another further. With Ozpin having no legal recourse to stop the exodus, it occurs, and Harry, his ‘Grand Company’ and Arturia head for Mistral and then home. This is not as easy or as pleasant as it should have been, with Grimm causing trouble, then the popularity of two of Harry’s ladies. Mobs annoy, reporters infuriate, but families are reunited and the last leg of the journey undertaken while Pyrrha makes extensive use of the mute button, still riding the high of joining the mile high club. Back in Evig Låga, quarters are discussed along with more important plans, and Harry finds himself hard at work. Pyrrha and the others also find themselves put to work, guarding the expansion zone, while elsewhere, the Branwen clan start to make plans, Cinder makes contact with Arthur Watts, and Grimm start to gather.
Heroes of the High Seas – My hero Academia/One Piece crossover: The two couples and their friends settle into time aboard ship on a long voyage this time. Various antics and training occur, while both couples are warned to make certain their ‘coupleness’ is kept under wraps. Garp takes a hilarious amount of joy in pounding Kirishima and Izuku into shape, becoming even more delighted by some signs he sees after several weeks of daily beati-training sessions. The ship is almost eaten by a sea monster too stupid to live, and a storm of sabers has Mei, Melissa and even Izuku pulling their hair out, before a actually calm night proves beneficial to Izuku and his new girlfriend. Nearly a month passes before they reach land once more, an island allied with the World Government, but one which is facing a very odd problem, one which mixes a Devil Fruit with the worst quasi-cultish nonsense. Dealing with that however, is far more straightforward than trying to hide the worst of the World Government’s excess from Kirishima and Shoto, who prove to have noses for trouble, while Izuku and Kyoka run afoul of the local king for things that should have gone unheard.
Death’s Avenger – HP/World of Warcraft crossover: - Harry and his companions wing northward, heading home, during which some moments make things a little tense between dragoness and chimera. However, any such thoughts or ideas go out the window when they stop one day and Harry’s messenger tube glows. Speed becomes of the essence at that point, while Harry comes up with ideas of how to transport large numbers of Unseen Path members without treating Versera like a beast of burden. Meanwhile, Tyrande and her companions are filled with horror as the Unseen Path tells them what they faced deeper in towards Vordrassil. An experiment follows, which elicits a response, forcing a hasty, and bloody retreat. Distance plays to the kaldorei strengths but the campaign is very much in doubt for a while until aid unlooked for arrives. Dragon fire proves a great deterrent to everything, while to the south, Harry and company arrive at Trueshot Lodge to find that the small valley’s entire population is ready to go to war, greatly expanding Harry’s resources. The Harpy/Path alliance travels to Northrend, dealing with unexpected attacks by rocs and being shot at by vrykul before finally arriving and following their map, heading to Vordrassil.
This poll will end in 48 hours. As already stated, Heroes of the High Seas gets the carry over effect of 683 votes. I’ll throw my votes in too if it’s got a chance of winning.
I was also asked by a patron to put up some images for some of the starfighters and other ships I use that aren’t easy to find/are original. I’ll be working on that tomorrow, but remember what I said, this poll’s gonna end Tuesday night so I can get right to work on the winner!!
