Hey guys. Sorry, forgot to post these. But hey, I’m 12,000 words into Heroes, so there’s that. Should add another 3000 words before heading to bed tonight. Anyway, here’s the Ranma poll. It will be the second fic I’ll work on this month.
Journey Gone Astray – Ranma/DC crossover: Ranma and the girls race out of California, ending up stopping a car jacking before Kara takes Kori shopping to get some clothing, while Cassie and Ranma follow the car-jackers back to their base for fun and profit. With Kara having called home and all the girls now dressed more appropriately for everything but Ranma’s blood pressure and their own presupposed notions of certain things, the group head out into the wilds. Before they get out of cell range, a certain Bat calls, somehow having traced Kara’s call to the Kents. A strained discussion occurs, then they are out into the wild. Ranma and Cassie teach Kori how to camp out, and Kara almost has a heart attack while Kori shows that waiting is not something she does willingly. Sparring and fun is had until a military helicopter arrives to deliver a invitation for a cookout. Thoughts are shared, ideas, futures planned as Kara gets her first patent and a general becomes very happy and somewhat weirded out at the same time.
Effect of a Horse and a Dragon – Ranma/Mass Effect crossover: As Ranma and Tali have a small romantic moment once more, with Tali performing her first perfect judo throw while they wait for Benezia or someone else to arrive. Feeling a third wheel very much, Garrus keeps himself busy gathering evidence, as a certain thawing continues slowly but surely and a massive, ancient ship ponders the sudden, abrupt loss of connection to its chosen tool. On Tuchanka, Herb and Wrex are faced with an attack in the caverns that takes their various abilities and skills to account in a way that makes the battle far worse for them both than any other, even if there are less bullets flying. Trouble arrives on Noveria in the form of hundreds of Geth, intercepted by the planet’s defenses but arriving still in the snows around Peak 15, only to learn quickly that Ranma, Tali and Garrus are very, very tricky indeed. Human and Benezia led reinforcements arrive, causing the Geth to have a very bad day.
Yes, Journey’s still called that in this poll. I figure if it wins I’ll announce the change and rename the collection and all that stuff then.
This poll will end on the 11th. Time to work and finish Heroes, send it off to be edited, work on a few other outline/story bits, and move on. Effect of a Horse and a Dragon will get the carry-over effect of 374.
