Good morning (where I am anyway) everybody. It is time to end the HP poll. I have finished Effect of a Horse and a Dragon and sent it off to Hiryo for editing. I haven’t gotten Death’s Avenger back from it’s editor yet, but if I don’t have it by tomorrow night, I’ll post it here then.
So… here are the votes.
Magic of the Force brought in a staggering 1,836.
With the carry-over effect of 425, Fate Touched in Middle Earth would have only brought in 1,715. However… I did say I would be voting for it, which gives it another 400.
Normally I wouldn’t do this if the winner was so clear. However, with my losing five days – the 22nd to the 27th and then probably only getting half-days after the 27th, I am not going to be able to do a large, or even a medium chapter of Magic justice.
Therefore, my votes will stand. Fate Touched in Middle Earth will be the winner. I will do all I can to get as much of the chapter done with Dragon Naturally Speaking over the next few days, then finish it up after returning from Family Time.
A reminder though: that doesn’t mean I won’t be doing things over those days. I will use those days to FINALLY go over the FILFy chapter that I’ve gotten back from an editor, chapter 4 of Journey which Hiryo has gotten back to me.
After that, my priority will be to bring over the stuff from fanfic over to A03. I assume I’m not the only one who has run into problems over there occasionally viewing chapters of various fanfics? I have been annoyed by that numerous times over the last month. So I’ll try to shift over a story a day while dealing with Family Time.
