We all know what it feels like to be at the back of the class at school giggling like Harold and Kumar. Sometimes it was hard to stop. But how long would it possibly last? A few minutes? Half an hour? Well in the town of Kashasha in modern day Tanzania they would WISH the laughter only lasted half an hour. In 1962 it was gripped with a disturbing and contagious epidemic — everyone couldn’t stop laughing. But was it mass hysteria or a real paranormal phenomenon? Time for Kit and Rory to investigate!
