Fun fact: you might actually remember from our Atlantis episode that there was evidence of an ancient seafaring civilisation that visited the Azores!

Also, I might have been slightly unkind to the Lorenzen family calling them the 'thief brothers'. The reality is we don't know much about them. Here's all we got!
Also regarding the concept of temporary islands: while I don't think it's what happened - it is totally possible! Here is the wikipedia about an island that appeared in the 1800s, was fought over and claimed and then promptly disappeared into the ocean again. Crazy!
But like I said, the truth lies elsewhere. And here I have photographic evidence. Something I didn't even show Rory...

Anyway, I got to get back to perfecting my sea water recipe. Still haven't nailed it, and I'm getting pretty ill tasting it all day long.
