Welcome to the research notes for the Donkey lady investigation!
As I stated in the episode there's very little evidence to support this case, but I will be DAMNED if that ever stops me from investigating. Are there any pictures of the donkey lady?
The short answer is.... No. This ghostly beast is harder track down than my Dad. BUT there is an artist illustration of what people believe she looks like
Okay, I know this pictures pretty low resolution so I thought who better to give the paranormal nation a REAL look at the Donkey Lady than the investigator himself?So I got to work...
And after 4 HOURS I realized... I had accidentally just drawn a regular donkey
SO I STARTED AGAIN. This time with laser focus. And after 3 more hours ended up with a masterpiece
So now we know exactly what she looks like, let's look at the story itself. The woman and her donkey were supposedly thrown off a bridge and fused together in some sort of ungodly bond after drowning in the river. What’s unbelievable about that? Well here’s a picture of Donkey Lady bridge
THAT IS NOT A VERY HIGH BRIDGE.
Listen. I’m no superman, and sure I’m diabetic, overweight, scared of heights/water/bridges and I can’t swim… BUT even if you threw me off that bridge I think I would wash up on shore like a beached whale, totally safe.In the story the Lady AND the donkey both died immediately, which I can’t help but find suspicious…Also I don’t know what the beliefs are behind human/animal soul bonds, so looks like it’s time to #INVESTIGATE*Sounds of furious typing*So after a few days of research this is the best thing I could find - “In the "Reincarnation" systems---you reincarnate from human to human. Animal reincarnation is found in the belief systems of "Soul evolution" where you reincarnate Between lower animals, graduating to higher animals, and finally to Humans (never backwards).”
So it looks like humans can’t be reincarnated alongside animals that are lower down in ranking, and seeing as a donkey, an animal literally nicknamed an ass, is about as low down the chain as it gets, it doesn’t seem like this would happen.
