Hey, everyone!I'm finally ready to share with you, my third chapter of The Diaries of Alex Batson (AKA Diaries), which is a continuation of my Detective Batson universe.I also feel like I should explain my decision there, lol. Now, I have no valid excuse for naming my comics like Panic! at the Disco song titles... That's just how I do for some reason... but when it comes to splitting this from the series, I feel like "The Search" completed when Lexi was brought into the family, and it'd feel better to continue the story as a sort of spin-off following her diaries during this time alone.So in my head this story has the following timeline (and some of you might not be aware of the other stories in this world):1. It all begins with Mr. Housewife, where we are introduced to the Passion family business.2. Then comes The Bimbofication of Detective Batson, and we meet Sofia and Lana/Larry.3. Passion Technologies acquires GeniVira in My Wife's Secretary4. Then Alex finds his "brother" in The Search for Detective Batson5. And we are here, watching his fate unfold in The Diaries of Alex PassionI will also share that this sub-story is almost complete. Likely only 1-2 chapters away before we move onto the next thing, which will bring some other characters back into play. This one was a tough one to make because it's, as I said in a previous post, a little boring on paper. Lexi is going through some stuff in this chapter, being changed into the person she is now, and left alone to deal with it and everything that comes with it. But she's not really left alone with much, as her options for variety are severely limited.I also got to do a sort of Rule34 thing with something I wanted to write dialogue for for quite some time. You'll see, lol... I hope you like it. I am quite satisfied with what I'm sharing today, but it did take some willpower to not just keep making this chapter once I got going. It's good that I did though, I'm really excited to dig into the next part, which you can expect to be my next release, and this one's bigger than the first two chapters combined. lolI'm hoping it won't take as long as this one because there aren't so many holidays and school vacation chaos to work around, but regardless I'll make sure to try and do a weekly update of some kind while I'm getting there, like an image peek or just an update of some kind.If I don't, get on my butt about it!Until then, I hope you enjoy this chapter and the type of story I'm trying to tell here.
