We have been working on Erin's free use in the background for some time, and we were planning on releasing it a lot earlier than we actually managed to. This was because with this update we are adding the Erin free use mode and a small event that continues the path with her if, at the end of Tatsumaki's route, she is the one who wins the final fight. The story will branch very drastically depending on who ends up living at the end of that event, so keep that in mind for future lore updates.
I know we have been postponing the weekly updates a lot, and the truth is that this past week we've been working on having Erin's free use ready and we paused the Frieren update because of it. I honestly thought I could handle working on both at the same time, but writing Frieren's story, plus working on her renders and animations while also working on Erin's free use was very overwhelming for me. We are looking to expand the team to make sure we don't fall behind and give you guys more updates more often without, of course, sacrificing the quality of it. Starting now, we will resume the weekly updates on the Frieren update and will put all on the back burner for it.❇️ HOW CAN YOU TRY THE BETA? ❇️By being either an Awake or Awake Limited PatronIf you are new and downloading the beta, remember: the 3 day beta phase is ONLY for bug reports, typos, and other issues that testers find. Please report them on our discord, on the awake chat to avoid spoilers. Beta versions are usually the buggiest and least polished ones. In this beta, some sound effects are missing, and a few voice actresses haven’t finished their scenes yet.
