DESCRIPTION
This is what the page looks like without the gradient map. Very high contrast black and white gradient. The idea here is white is mapped to the red end of the gradient and black is mapped to the blue. Using two lighter colors at both ends of the gradient map allows for two light sources, which gives off a nice edge highlight in both directions. The purple in the middle creates a nice blending shadow color to divide the two light sources.
I'm already seeing comments from people who don't like it and think it's cheap. I personally think it's boring to never try anything different and color characters like they're in a coloring book over and over again. Let me know what you think.
