Ah damn, I forgot to post this one last year.
Ah, remember this one? Last year, when I posted my Zootopia 2 fanart I included a Timelapse where you could see the unfinished sketch for this piece, but I said I'd finish it later.
And turns out I did!
It took longer because I did it during breaks and also I restarted from scratch because I wanted to have the more accurate proportions to the movie.
And I actually had to do like 3 corrections to achieve that but here it is!
I wanted to post it last year but I forgot and when I remembered it was already 2026 and I had to wait because I wanted the Lil and Diego piece to be the first one I posted because as an artist I sometimes engage in magical thinking or something.
For a movie so filled with adventure I couldn't avoid to find interesting that one of my first observations out of it was a chill scene like this but I think it is because of Judy’s realization of the mess being the reason for Nick to never inviting her there which sort of implies a desire for more intimacy or something, and I think I'm not the only artist to get that sense because I’ve seen various renditions of this very concept for a scene goring around.
And now, for my next trick, I'll be over analysing the bathroom scene in “Paw Patrol 3: In Dog We Trust”
