She's always doing something.
She's an artist, painter, occasional sculptor, has acted a couple of times and the graphic designer for The WornDown Children.
She's a dynamo, hyperactive and never staying still.
She's all about the arts.
She's extroverted and knows basically everyone. Easy to like, she has many friends she has gained through her journey through art.
She grew up at a religious home with her late father who was an architect, her mother, a housewife later turned cook at a restaurant and her sister.
She's very casual about her love life and relationships. Her latest and more lasting relationship was with a girl named Delia who she met at art school.
She met the band at first through Tony who she met at high school, though she wouldn't actually start hanging out with them until late in the last semester when they approached her so she could make some graphic work for them.
It took them a couple of years to pay her back.

You probably won't, but do you remember when last year after finishing the new reference sheets for the band, I mentioned that I wanted to make Tak's sheet as she's part of the band's core group and then I didn't for like 7 months?
Well, I did it!
Just now.
So I'm no longer a liar… in this specific issue.
Good old Erika, AKA: Tak.
This one felt kind of easier than the other ones and I think part of it is the fancy that here I'm repeating species. Having the RJ one was a pretty helpful reference. Which is good because that's exactly its purpose.
I took the opportunity to touch her colors up a bit to make her slightly less yellow, yet, still recognizable as her. Honestly she's one of the characters that are benefiting the most from a new sheet. I still remember the day I made her original one, I had a lot of trouble drawing the neck and you can tell.
Another funny thing about her original reference sheet is that I actually never released it publicly because it included what I thought back then as a “spoiler” and that's that she's the “mysterious” artist who has been painting the “Yes Coyote” tag all around the town the WornDown Children live. Though I haven't been putting it in backgrounds as often anymore
That's why I correct her on this one and show her doing some more traditional painting. Though in the ref you can still see her back pack with her hat, her black turtle neck and some of the spray paint cans she would have to use to make those graffitis. So there's still clues!
In the description I mentioned her religious family, and mainly her mother who's still alive. She doesn't do it hardcore style but I do imagine there was still some drama when Tak came out as bi, though they worked things out by now.
There's this idea I like where through her work in art or by pure coincidence, she somehow has met all of my characters at least once.
We do know how she met the whisperers already.
I also mentioned her ex Delia who has appeared in a couple of things already but always in the background among many characters which funnily makes her existence kind of Waldo-esque.
Later I'll be posting a larger version of the picture of her painting as I had to take some things out to make it fit the sheet format as the original idea was to have her in her studio surrounded by many things. A computer behind her, a camera and negative rolls, sketchbooks, etc. And this was to sell the idea of her being ADD hyperactive and being doing 20 things at the same time.
And I already drew a bunch of those things so I want to finish the picture and maybe add some more stuff.
After this, the next reference sheet I'll probably be remaking is Tina’s though I don't know yet when that will be. But probably soon.
