Honestly, someone else because I liked how this one came out so much that I'm seriously considering making some changes and turning her into a new OC to claim the whole picture for me.
So the Mexican futbol team Pumas, or Cougars in english, revealed this week their new “fursuit” (lmao) for one of their mascots and obviously it has ended in internet artists drawing their rendition of her. Including me of course as you can see here, I'm not better.
One of the reasons I felt drawn to draw this is that Pumas is the team I supported when I felt I had to pretend to like futbol lol. Mainly because it's the one most of my friends were fans of.
Another of the reasons is that it gave me an excuse to listen to the Supercampeones intros and endings on a loop as I tried to channel the style of the many Captain Tsubasa animes for this piece. You know, to make it extra Mexican.
Especially Dragon Screamer, that one is so good that it is actually part of my usual playlist.
As usual this one was going to be a quick thing but I started to have too much fun with it, and in part that's why I kind of want to edit to make it more of a me thing but anyway.
For now this one forms part of a new series that I've titled “Fanarts of Mexican institutions’ fursonas”
