... like.... The one in the shirt, I mean
I don't know why but lately I've been thinking about Diana's old bear shirt from the “Morning series”, (which I'll probably revisit soon in a way), and that I expanded on later on another piece that I’d like to revisit as well.
Maybe it's because she's wearing that shirt in the comic I'm currently working on, but who knows?
I guess I just like the idea of Diana's attachment to the shirt which, now with this and the comic, has become a recurring item of hers, like her old guitar.
Long story short, it was shirt with a kind of suggestive drawing of a cartoon character from her youth that she totally had a crush on, that she found on a bazaar or something.
Kinda like with that lemur mascot from an in-universe cereal brand and Tak (And probably Tony, Tough I'm pretty sure he was joking).
I could do a thing like a series with my characters and their first crushes, could be fun. But I probably won't.
Anyway just taking a short break from working on the comics to make a little quick thing with Diana, is what I'd like to say but this actually took longer than I thought it would.
Not the drawing itself but for some reason I couldn't really nail what I wanted to do. I did a lot of attempts and I even almost finished one. Look:
So it took more than I wanted, which is a bit of a problem because the comic I'm working on is taking more than I thought as well. But that's because I've been busy lately. I'm excited about this one. Not to spoil it but actually in the floaty and kind of messy timeline of comics, this one is the first direct sequel happening after Closing Time. Unless I come up with something else later.
Also, not nearly as long of course. So I'm back to it.
