How's this for a Summer picture! Merry Christmas!!

I know what some or even probably none of you are thinking right now, "Oh Damian Katnay, isn't it a bit early still for a Christmas pic?” and my first answer to that is: Never!!!. But more importantly, yeah kinda. That's because this isn't necessarily a Christmas pic.

First, this is a follow up on this idea I had earlier this year of drawing the guys from the band by themselves more often, get them to show off a bit more and all that, and I'm starting here with Tony for well just because, haha, there's totally no other reason I might have you silly billies! 

But second, I've been doing some art studies for an idea I have for the band which could end up being a long comic, or a series of pictures, or a series of short comics or something, and this thing would be set during the band doing tours and staying on cheap hotels and other kind of places.

So I've been doing some research on what I've been referring to as “highway hotels”... from my house. Trying to figure out the setting, I want a hotel that looks big enough for me to set a story there, but not big enough for it to look fancy. 

And I'm having trouble picturing it but one of the more striking pictures I've found during my “research” was this medium sized hotel on an Oaxaca highway, basically surrounded by the jungle, decorated for Christmas and what can I say…. The vibes were perfect.

So you could think of this as concept art.

Shirtless Tony here comes from the idea of the band at this point being so used to going around and stopping at these places that they're comfortable moving around them as if they were at their house.

There's three versions of this picture because originally there was only going to be 3 with the more contemplative Tony, but then I came up with the tinder profile joke and I did the edit for it to fit that concept just to entertain myself.
