DESCRIPTION

[Ylva]

The following day, I woke up earlier than I normally do. I find it pretty challenging to keep a consistent routine when it comes to waking up or going to sleep. Fortunately, last night after dinner, I managed to drift off to sleep a bit earlier than usual. Despite my parents being active around the house, I slept through the night without even stirring.

If I had to take a guess, I'd say it was likely because my mother dozed off early, too, which meant my father didn't get the opportunity to do what he had in mind. If you want to know why, it all circles back to me.

This wasn't the first or second time. It had happened many times before when my mother experienced pleasure while I was nursing from her breast. It wasn't a shock to me anymore, but I have to confess that yesterday, I let myself get swept up.

"I really violated her breasts," I muttered with a sigh, glancing over to see my mother next to me. She was fast asleep, completely worn out after all the energy she had spent yesterday.

As I crawled over her body, I found a spot to settle down on my father's broad chest. Even while he slept, there was nothing friendly about his expression. His strong breath caused his thick beard to flutter gently, adding to the imposing aura he carried even in slumber.

"Father, it's morning! Time to wake up," I gave his chest a few solid hits, but he was just lying there like a rock, not moving an inch.

Every now and then, a low grunt escaped his lips, almost like he was trying to communicate that no matter what happened, he wasn't going to wake up. I couldn't blame him. After all, this family usually stayed fast asleep at this hour. Even when I noticed a tiny hole that seemed to lead outside, there was still no indication that the sun was making its way up in the sky.

I stood my ground, knowing that today was the day I had a crucial meeting lined up with someone special. Even though Ylva might have been a bit one-sided in her decision-making, I definitely wouldn't pass up the chance to see her again.

"Are you sure you don't want to get up? Mother is already angry, you know," I thought waking him up with a little fear, specifically involving his wife, would do the trick. But the response I got was even more ridiculous than I expected.

"What nonsense are you talking about? Eva is right here... just look at her, she's sleeping so soundly next to me," my father said, half-mumbling, still not fully awake.

What he did next left me absolutely speechless. His large frame suddenly lurched to the side, and I quickly dug my feet into the bed to keep my balance. Just when I thought I had it under control, another ruckus erupted.

He didn't just rest his hand on his wife's waist. He also made an attempt to reach for something else, but his hand ended up pausing at her breast. His goofy grin and playful squeeze appeared to stir a slumbering lioness from her peaceful rest.

"Smiour, get your hand off there!" my mother said, her voice low and deep, as her clenched fist came crashing down on his face without hesitation.

I was caught off guard by how much my father's reckless actions would impact me. The moment he woke up, I felt my body instinctively roll off his chest. As I braced myself for the inevitable thud of hitting the floor, something unexpected happened—my body froze in midair.

"Tthat was close! What the hell was that just now?" Even though my father still looked half-conscious, he didn't even glance my way. Yet, his reflexes were sharp as ever when he caught me just before I hit the floor.

Because of the prank I pulled, my mother ended up waking up, too. She nonchalantly straightened her clothes, all the while shooting her husband a pointed glare that spoke volumes.

When I mentioned that I wanted to leave early, they seemed puzzled and started asking questions about it. Since I had already thought through my answer, I felt pretty relaxed about it. With just a bit of persuasion, I finally got what I wanted.

Even though my father seemed hesitant, he had no option but to go along with it. My mother, too, got up early to whip up breakfast, following suit.

"Are you sure you don't want to just crawl back into bed? You can sleep again if you want," my mother suggested, hoping to change my mind about my plan. I simply responded with a thumbs-up.

"What about me? Didn't you say you'd offer me something?"

My father kept being insensitive, completely oblivious to the fact that she was giving him the cold shoulder. He received a straightforward answer:

"I don't care," my mother said, turning her face away in a huff. She looked just like a sulking teenager, but her priorities were unmistakable. "Take good care of our child..."

My father and I couldn't help but chuckle, but to be honest, I was just as puzzled as he was. It was pretty rare for my mother to be this annoyed, and the fact that it was linked to my father's accidental inappropriate behavior just made the whole situation even more absurd.

But at that point, I didn't care anymore.

I turned my attention away from my house and focused on a nearby one that caught my eye.

Absolutely, as soon as we arrive at the blacksmith's place, I'll be on the lookout for a chance to make my getaway. The waiting was starting to get to me, and my impatience was reaching a boiling point.

As we made our way, we didn't come across a single villager. Since we set off early in the morning, the snow that had accumulated was still mostly untouched and fresh.

Even my father struggled, his firm steps sinking deep into the snow, reaching up to his calves. Yet, he never wavered. He kept on walking. The first time I sat on his neck, I struggled to see even a meter ahead of me. Everything around was still shrouded in darkness.

Everything shifted when a soft glow from the sun started to peek over the horizon.

"I suppose there's nothing wrong with heading out early," my father remarked, turning to face the sunlight, ensuring I, too, could soak in its comforting warmth.

Even though the sun took its time rising, its light quickly spread across every corner of the village. The snow, still piled high on the rooftops, started to melt and gently tumble down.

"The view is stunning," those words flowed from my heart, and at that moment, my mind found a sense of calm.

It's pretty uncommon for me to catch the sunrise from such a perfect spot like this. Sure, I know I'll have more chances to see it in the future, but I can say I'll never grow tired of it.

"I get what you're saying, but I have to admit, I'm not a fan of how you wake me up, son."

I couldn't help but giggle as I pointed toward the blacksmith's shop. "Come on, father, let's be the first ones there!"

"Don't overlook them, particularly Thors. his intense eagerness to learn can really catch you off guard."

Watching my father relish this bonding time, I couldn't help but jump in on the fun. It was a surprise when he suddenly picked up the pace, his steps quickening in an unexpected burst of energy. It looked like my words had struck a nerve, as he was now sprinting away.

"Holy hell! I thought you were a snow monster, what's with the running, Smiour."

Sitting on one of the old wooden chairs, my father's friend—the one with the nearly bald head—was lounging back with a glass of a warm drink. I can't say for sure what it was, but from what I could see, it looked like some sort of gruel.

A small amount had spilled onto his pants, and he gazed at us, his expression still one of surprise.

"Hahahaha, I had a feeling one of you would show up first."

"Why did you show up out of the blue spouting nonsense? Of course I was the first one here since my house is the closest," the man said, gesturing towards the house right next to the blacksmith's shop.

As my father gently lowered me from his neck, he couldn't help but flash a wide grin, his teeth gleaming in the light.

"I won't question why you decided to show up so early, but honestly, it's great timing. We can dive right into our work and make the most of the day from the get-go…'m pretty sure Viktor is on the same page, don't you think?"

I simply nodded my head in response to that.

The man couldn't help but grin. With a friendly gesture, he wrapped his arm around my father's shoulder and welcomed him inside. He even tried to offer my father his drink, but he flatly turned it down.

Noticing that my father's enthusiasm had faded, I hung back until they were out of sight. As soon as I heard the unmistakable sound of the hammer clanging, I took that as my cue to quietly slip away.

"Hey there, little Viktor! Are you up for another adventure like always? What do you think about my house?"

While I was on my way, I came across an old woman who kindly invited me to check out her house. The idea of exploring a place I had never seen before was tempting, but I ultimately had to turn her down.

"Sorry, Grandma, but I've already picked a place I want to explore. Maybe next time."

With grandma's warm smile lingering in my mind, I set off on my journey, feeling a mix of nostalgia and excitement. I've been mulling over the gossip that's been making the rounds in this village lately.

I wanted to share a bit about all the people who were aware of my exploration journey. I didn't mind it at all. In fact, I wanted to take a moment to thank the very first person who shared it.

Thanks to that person, I now have a reason to step into every corner of this village. Who knows, in a few years, this reason might not hold much weight anymore, but it played a significant role in my journey of collecting information.

I spotted the Thors family house pretty quickly, but I just couldn't find the person I was hoping to see.

I felt a twinge of worry that Ylva might have forgotten the promise she made to herself. Just then, the door to the house swung open.

I was filled with excitement as I waited for Ylva to come out, but to my surprise, it was Thors who stepped through the door instead. I noticed Helga right by the door, taking her time to neatly arrange her husband's clothes with a gentle touch. The way they interacted brought back memories of my parents.

I didn't make any effort to conceal myself as Thors approached. When he finally spotted me, I was fully prepared for whatever was coming next.

"Viktor? What brings you here so early?" Thors looked at me with surprise, even squatting down in front of me, clearly worried that I might be in some kind of trouble.

"I'm waiting for someone," I said, and it seemed like my smile, or maybe my confidence, had a calming effect because the worry that had been etched on Thor's face just melted away.

"Is that person from my family?"

I was a bit unsure about sharing the truth with him, but eventually, I decided to go for it. So, I said, "Ylva promised me I could check out her sheep pen."

Thor's eyes widened in surprise as he opened his mouth, momentarily at a loss for words. After a brief pause, he burst into a hearty laugh that echoed far away.

"So, here's what I hear. Helga mentioned that you swung by our place yesterday. And it sounds like Ylva made you a promise, too, huh?"

As I stood back up, I couldn't shake off the feeling of being overwhelmed by his presence. Being so close to him, I could sense a different vibe in the air. It was hard to ignore the tall, muscular frame he seemed to want to downplay. It was just so obvious.

"I hope you have fun. I will also keep this a secret from Smiour."

After giving my head a good rub, Thors just kept on walking away. I found myself fixated on his broad back, watching it until it disappeared from view. A thought popped into my mind just then, but I quickly brushed it aside.

As I turned my gaze back toward Thor's house, I noticed a woman already standing outside, waiting there with an air of anticipation. She took her time to stretch, trying to warm up her body, but the lingering sleepiness still clung to her.

Just as she let out a big yawn, our eyes locked, and a smile spread across her face, filled with a burst of renewed energy.
