This did happen this year while tabling. This woman walked up to my booth and practically demanded a custom button of fan art and when I told her I don’t do those but do table commissions, she did not mask her disdain and didn’t want anything from my table before storming off. Like… damn. Tell me how you really feel. Sheesh.
Only reason I don’t do custom buttons at cons is because button makers are fucking HEAVY and it’s a process with all the extra pieces and things that need to be pressed, not just the art itself. Maaaaaybe I’ll make a commission slot on my ko-fi page for future custom buttons but for now, I’m sticking with my table commissions at cons and commissions on my pages.
