Hello lovely patrons!
Welcome to our newest monthly update where we update you on all things Two and a Half Studios. As always, these will come out every month on the 6th (AEST).
The last month has been a blur of getting ready for SMASH! in Sydney on top of our usual dev work. We're really excited to see some of you there!
We also released a brand new beta for A Date with Death 2, and spent a significant amount of time adjusting and fixing things based off your feedback. Lots to get into this month!
The Willowmist Emporium of Antiques and Curiosities
Art
This month, we completely finished up with the Emmett route CGs! Anzai completed his mid-route CG, his romance CG, and his final CG, and has now moved onto Winnie's route!
We're super happy with this progress, and it'll likely only be a few months until all of our main route CGs are complete. Then we'll be back to working on additional side characters, plus some extra CGs for the endings and other major events throughout the game.
We're also considering adding mini CGs to Willowmist after having such a great time with adding them to A Date with Death 2. We're currently preparing a proposed list of mini CG ideas to discuss further, so hopefully we have more on this in the coming months to show!
Writing, Editing and Outlining
We finished outlining the finale of Winnie's route during the month, and we have some great ideas for presentation that we're excited to implement. It's still awhile yet until I get to writing these scenes, but the excitment is spurring me on!
On top of that, writing work has continued on both the main story and Florian's route this month:

A Date with Death 2: REMNANTS
Writing & Editing
In the last month we've yet again made big progress on furthing our writing for A Date with Death 2.
Day 2 and 3 of Atlas' route and day 2 of 5012's route are complete, with good progress on day 4 of Atlas' route and Day 3 of 5012's route.
In the editing department, 5012's day 2 is edited, and Day 2 of Atlas' route is around 50% edited.

Programming
Programming in the past month consisted of testing the full beta and every available day of the game. We fully completed this task and we were able to release our newest beta, which we'll talk more about below.
We also spent some of June implementing our new mini CGs and additional expressions for side characters in the common room:

Art
We wrapped up two new sprite variants for both Atlas and 5012 this month (undressed and a secret one that beta enjoyers will have seen, and everyone else will see soon)! We also started working on another CG for Atlas - his first major romance CG!
One funny thing about our work is one CG almost always turns into multiple. Fuyuure is great at taking our briefs and making them come alive - so this one CG is actually three, haha.
On top of that, we're also working on the walking sprites for two characters. Here's a look at 4187s!
And we're keeping up with progress of our mini CGs. We thought 20, but it'll more likely be 30+!
We're also still working on the art for our brand new room creation feature. This is a huge undertaking and we cannot understate how much amazing work Nichole is doing. We have a whole lot of updates!
Yes, you'll even be able to change your chair! Everything will be interchangable, so you can mix and match to make your perfect reaper retreat.
We're also working on some new plushies!
Phew! There will be lots to customize your room with :)
Lastly, we worked with Han on some brand new merch to have available at SMASH! These are a set of 7 phone charms!
We've got a mix of ADWD1 and 2 characters!
New Beta
We released a huge new beta for ADWD2 this month! It includes all 7 days of the common route, plus day 1 of Atlas and day 1 of 5012's routes!
