There's now a Stamina meter represented in green that lets you dash for as long as the bar will let you go
and there's an agro meter that fills with BLUE
I added this this morning after thinking about it lots
Basically in Zelda likes or hack and slashes I never really liked that no matter how well made, its kinda hard to tell of enemy hitboxes and when they're close enough to hurt you, is it instant? Is it on a delay? Do you just have to bounce the enemy away all the time and never let them close?
This system is basically if the enemy is one tile it'll rapidly fill the blue gauge, and at full deals damage only then
you need to spend a small amount of time away from an enemy to have it unfil
I think this captures the give and take you need to dodge/step away from enemies without seeming too oppressive on the player, I'd argue this is player advantage over enemy :- And on a side note I think this would be a great way to influence how armour works, maybe stronger/more better armors make that gauge fill slower to represent it being stronger etc
Maybe some armours have a slower bar fill but enemies deal more damage etc etcThe blue meter I'm thinking about calling it the "Agro Meter"
