How are we feeling tonight, Wugs?!?!
Hopefully better now that the monthly Wugdate has arrived! It took me so long to write to you all because we've been busy WORKING at the G&G headquarters (just a room in my house btw).
You might be wondering. . . why are there so many strange photos of Jared in this post? Well, that's because he is going to be onstage with us for HIS FIRST ever G&G live show on Friday, June 26th in Austin, TX at Brushy Street Commons!! So we obviously have to make him do silly videos to help tell people about it. Jared also had a very strong vision about how the show should start, so we spent 5 hours literally running around Austin in the blazing heat to help him achieve it. For our Goblin Mode this month, we pay a visit to our good friend Craig Campbell, the guy who wrote Die Laughing and Die Laughinger. (And for legal reasons, I must inform you that we are not in fact official friends with Mr. Campbell. While we did meet him one time, he seemed a bit scared of us and our intense energy. ) We play Hypersleep Terminated, which is all about a space disaster that happens on your ship when you are woken early from your hypersleep pod. And if any of the characters seem to resemble known characters from popular IP, you are mistaken. 😤They are all totally original concepts that we came up with ourselves with no outside influence whatsoever.
As mentioned previously, we are also deep into our theatre kid summer with rehearsals for the Shakespeare show we are producing this August. Fun fact: the show we are doing is A Midsummer Night's Dream. Another fun fact: Lilly, Dane, and I already performed in one production of this show last week. So yes, we are doing the same show TWICE in the span of three months. But in our version, someone will in fact have to get drunk every night and still try to do the show perfectly.
