Hey everyone,
The last two months have been heavy on internal progress. The kind that moves the project forward in a meaningful way, but does not always give us big visual updates to show off. That can make communication harder than it sounds. With 3,700+ of you here, even small comments can land differently depending on the person reading them. That is just part of building something at this scale.
So last month we made a simple decision. If we cannot always show large system updates, we can still make sure you are entertained. We took an in-game feature and built a fun narrative experience around it, something that adds value now and can extend beyond a single update cycle. You all responded really well to that, so expect more of it this month.
Ren’Py Rebuild
The goal with the rebuild is straightforward. We want you to have a playable version where the art does not pull you out of the experience because of noticeable quality drops. After reviewing the timeline, we identified a clear cutoff point where the art quality shifts. That gives us direction instead of guesswork, which is a big step forward.
The rebuild still does not include the Bordello or villain posting yet, but we are getting much closer to a stable and focused version. The biggest win right now is clarity. Once the foundation is clean and consistent, everything else becomes easier to layer in properly.
Project Evo
Evo has hit the colouring stage, which is always the natural bottleneck. Colouring takes the longest and requires the most sustained attention, so it tends to stack up quickly. That part is inevitable in this kind of pipeline.
The difference this time is structure. The workload is being organized better, which is keeping the bottleneck from growing the way it has in past updates. Once the colouring phase clears, SR7 and Henshin start locking into place and the rest of the update begins to come together. We will keep you posted as those pieces start landing.
