Fern has a little secret.
She is the one in charge of wake up Frieren all mornings, and certainly that can be a complicated duty sometimes, the elf is just so heavy sleeper, so it gave no choices to Fern but to experiment and find the best way to do her work right.
She eventually reached the solution for it, but in middle of the process she found something interesting for her, she doesn’t know why but she likes how Frieren's feet feels like, they are just so soft (if Frieren wasn’t adorable enough to hug her to Fern’s eyes).
One day, while on middle of her morning 1st duty, she thought it would be a nice idea to try to wake up her teacher by touching her feet, perhaps tickling her a bit or something or give a strong pressure on her soles so the elf wakes up? , but instead she found out how soft those soles are.
She couldn’t leave that feeling from her mind that she tried same idea next day, and the day after and after, all the times in different ways, sometimes with her fingers, sometimes with just her full hands until one day she decided to use her soles , " how would that feel like " , the apprentice thought.
She approached to the sleepy elf and approached her clearly bigger feet to Frieren's and touch them, the feeling was so good and different than anything she tried so far, she couldn’t avoid moving her soles all over Frieren's, it was funny how her feet fit over the elf ones. She then slide her feet up and down many times, over and over, until she was Satisfied.
Fern keep doing this until today from time to time, but while she got companions it has turned harder.
