Translator++ Update: Built-in Offline Translator with 40+ Language Support

It is now 2026, and the offline translator initiative pioneered by Google is becoming a new web standard. In keeping with my commitment to delivering cutting-edge translation technology, I am excited to bring this innovation to you.

This translator supports a wide range of languages, and we believe the list will continue to grow. Currently, the supported languages include:

Several of these languages have never received offline translation software before.

Key advantages of the offline translator

Secure and privacy-friendly

No internet connection required (except for downloading the language models)

Fast and efficient performance

This offline translator engine will be bundled with Translator++ starting from version 8.1.14, with no additional add-ons required. However, you must update the Translator++ NWJS framework to version 0.104.0. In a future release, this NWJS version will become the default. For now, the update must be performed manually viaTools → Basic Utilities → Change Core NWJS.

But, don't worry, the upgrade process will be super easy.

Changes to the Offline Translator engine

Previously, the Offline Translator engine depended on Itsudemo Jisho to function. This has now been separated:

To use Itsudemo Jisho, select the translator engine “Itsudemo Jisho.”

To use the built-in offline translation system, select “Offline Translator.”
