We are excited to release Itsudemo Jisho version 26.2.25. This update brings a major expansion to our OCR capabilities, making the tool more versatile than ever before.

In our last major update, we introduced the Realtime OCR Overlay. This feature was designed specifically for immersion—allowing you to play games with translations overlaid directly on the screen without obstructing your mouse or gameplay.

✨ New Feature: Instant OCR
While the Overlay is perfect for continuous gaming, sometimes you just need to grab text quickly from a website, an error message, a comic, or an application interface.
Introducing Instant OCR.
This is a new OCR integration designed for general purpose use. It allows you to grab text from anywhere on your screen instantly and send it straight to the dictionary.
How it works
The workflow is incredibly simple:
Press the Shortcut (Default: F7)
Select the Area you want to read.
Profit! You will immediately see the recognized text and translation in the Translator pane or Projector.

Multilingual Support
Just like our overlay tool, Instant OCR utilizes a powerful offline multi-language model. While it is an excellent companion for Japanese learners, it works seamlessly with over 40 other languages.
