Her grandmother is more than just her mentor. she is Suyeon’s idol, who she aspires to be. Unlike most shamans who remain rooted in one place, her grandmother is a traveler, journeying across continents to study different paranormal traditions and hunt down dangerous relics before they fall into the wrong hands. Then, three years ago, she vanished.
She had disappeared on short jobs before but never this long. The last Suyeon heard, her grandmother was traveling to the United States, chasing rumors of a cursed relic. After that, silence.
She started to worry, she got a feeling that something went wrong. Unable to wait any longer, Suyeon followed the only lead she had. She traveled to America herself, enrolling in a college near where her grandmother was last seen. Officially, she is an international student. Unofficially, she is searching for traces of the woman who raised her and whatever darkness may have swallowed her whole.
