The Golden Generation is a script to improve the quality of new youngsters (regens).
How do I use it? I used FC Nürnberg for this test.
1. Get the Youth Intake dates (passion4fm.com/football-manager-youth-intake-dates) for your managing country or team. As you can see here, the period for Germany is from March 9 to April 6, so you have to activate the script before this period.
2. In my case, FC Nürnberg's youth intake date would be on March 31, and I setup the script on March 30.
3. Now to setup the script, go to Preset (Global) -> Golden Generation -> Setup. Here's what you can see currently there are 3 options:
- Min PA = Minimum Potential Ability; the desired number to determine the average PA of the new youngsters (1 - 200).
- Max PA = Maximum Potential Ability; the desired number to determine the capped PA on the new youngsters, this option must be greater than Min PA (1 - 200).
- Club UID = Club's Unique ID; fill this field to determine a club to get the effect; in my case, FC Nürnberg would be 899. You can also get your club UID by clicking Get My Club UID.
4. Now that everything is set, click Apply, and you can continue the game or go on vacation. Note: Don't deactivate until you pass the youth intake date.
5. Now, as you can see here, we get high ratings for the new youngsters. Let's see his PA. He has 196 potential ability!
6. That's it! Now you can deactivate the script.
