Hi everyone,
First off, I’d like to thank each and everyone of you for reading this story for as long as you have. It truly means a lot to me.
That said, I will be taking two weeks off.
When I started uploading Theos, I had 15 chapters written. 10 of them I put on my Patreon, 5 I kept as a backlog, and then I started posting 5 days a week.
I ran out of that backlog within the first 2-3 weeks of posting, and I have since been uploading chapters as soon as I write them.
It’s an approach that has worked well so far, but as time passes, it’s getting harder and harder to keep up with that pace, and I feel that the quality of the story is beginning to suffer for it.
The plan is to take a few days off from writing in general, just to let the ideas stew. Then with a full battery, spend the rest of the time building up a modest backlog. One that, without the constant deadlines, will both give me some breathing room to experiment with the plot, and raise the quality of my work.
I’ll return with a new chapter and resume normal updates on Monday, July 17.
