So I just want to mention that I spent almost an hour working on getting the part to the right of the first page 1:1 to the original manga and then my PC crashed before I could save (TIP: save and save often.) so I'm pretty upset about that.
Anyway, here's my recreation of the first page of Kanbutsu's "untitled ryona manga". I love the original about as much as you can love a manga about killing young kunoichi so this is a pretty big passion project for me. Most of the page layouts will be based on the 2nd (more complete[?]) version of the manga, but I'll be borrowing panels and ideas from the 1st version that I feel were more appealing to the senses. I can't promise it'll be finished in a timely fashion, since each panel is its own individual scene, but I can promise that it'll be done with love and care.
Also, I'm hand-translating the manga now that I'm more confident in my Japanese. Hopefully the story will flow better that way. Let me know what you think!
