Hey everyone,
This update took longer than I expected. I still don’t fully know how busy I’ll be with work going forward… but at least April looks manageable compared to the absolute hell that was February and March, as I mentioned in my previous status update.
To give a bit of perspective, I put Hitomi together in about 2–3 days. This time, even with all the assets already finished, it still took me around a week to assemble everything because of the added gameplay systems, branching, and animations.
I also strongly recommend replaying from the beginning (you can fast-forward if you’ve already played). I found a bug that didn’t correctly store some decisions. It won’t crash your game later, but it can alter the story in ways you didn’t intend.Alongside that, I fixed several graphical issues.
Another important change — the game was originally designed around a hardcore/difficult mode, but I understand that’s not for everyone. So now you can choose your preferred mode at the start of the game.
