Hey Berries! 👋😊 Today we’re excited to share with you the Making Of of the seventh Pre-Animation for Foxlo’s transformation into a Giant Blueberry! 🫐 Following the sequence of our shots and continuing from the preview you saw at the end of last month, we now have the production of this new animation ready.
In this moment, Foxlo looks embarrassed as everyone around her watches while her body suddenly begins to swell, 😳 caused by the blueberry juice rapidly accumulating inside her body. 🔵💦 Just like in the Shot 06, viewers will also notice how Foxlo’s clothes are stained by the juice being expelled from her breasts, helping maintain visual continuity between both parts of the sequence. 🎞️ Another feature we implemented in this animation is the wave-like motion in Foxlo’s belly, designed to convey that “water balloon” feeling as her body moves, 💧🎈 just like in the 2005 movie. 🎬 As we mentioned in earlier posts, this subtle detail adds more realism and dynamic movement to the swelling.
🛠️ On the technical side: we can share that all animations were created in Blender, with Foxlo’s movements rotoscoped from our actress performing in front of a green screen. The the soft-body effects applied to the breasts and belly were done in Houdini. While the Inventing Room environment was also composed in Blender. 🖥️⚙️ Up next, you’ll find both videos where you can clearly see the striking similarity between the live-action performance and the digital version, as well as the entire process we just described earlier in the post. ⬇️Video Links⬇️
