This next Edgeville update is a big one. 🔥🔥🔥

A while back, I mentioned that I had to rework a massive part of Edgeville’s framework from the ground up.

That wasn’t just a technical cleanup.

That was the foundation for what comes next.

Edgeville has now moved away from being limited by pre-rendered content and toward a much more flexible real-time experience. After testing it, and after hearing that you guys approved the direction, I said that was huge news for the future of the game.

Now you’re going to start seeing why.

From this point forward, the goal is simple:

Every update should feel like an expansion — not just a patch.

More content.

Better presentation.

More polish.

More reasons to come back.

Here’s what’s already coming in the next release.

New UI Improvements

I’ve started updating several parts of the game’s UI, including the dialogue interface, mission completion screens, reward notifications, and other smaller elements.

It’s not finished yet, but the difference is already noticeable.

The game feels cleaner, smoother, and more polished overall. Edgeville is starting to feel much closer to the experience I’ve been aiming for.

Cinematic Background Blur During Conversations

When you talk to characters now, the background gets a stylish blur effect.

This might sound like a small change, but it makes a big difference.

Edgeville has always been about the characters. They’re the focus. They’re the reason you’re playing. This update makes that much more obvious by putting the character front and center during conversations.

Above is a screenshot showing the updated UI and the new background blur during character interactions.

Voices and Sound

This is probably my favorite addition so far. 🥵

I’ve started adding voice lines for the characters.

Simple greetings. Short reactions. Little sayings. Extra sounds that make the characters feel more alive.

I originally looked into working with voice actors, but because these are parody characters with very recognizable personalities, it was extremely difficult to get anything that felt right. A lot of it just sounded off.

So for now, I’ve been using AI-assisted voice work to get closer to the tone and style these characters need.

It’s not perfect. Some lines may still sound strange here and there.

But when it works?

It adds a lot.

This is especially noticeable during the real-time s*x scenes, where the extra audio makes the experience feel much more alive.

Dexter’s Mom will be getting voice work in the next release.

New Inventory Icons

Your inventory is also getting a polish pass.

Items now have actual icons instead of just feeling like plain data sitting in a menu.

They’re simple for now, but they already make the inventory feel more complete, more readable, and more immersive.

Small change. Big improvement.

Quality Improvements

I’ve also added several general improvements across the game.

Screen TransitionsScene changes now have a fade-in transition, which makes moving around the game feel much smoother.

Neighborhood Visual Touch-UpsThe neighborhood has received some graphical cleanup, including new driveways, fixed curbs, closed gaps, and other small improvements.

There are still much bigger neighborhood upgrades planned, but these touch-ups already help the world feel more solid and polished.

And Now… The Content

This is the big part.

🔥 The next release continues Dexter’s Mom’s storyline. 🔥

That means:

New missions.New dialogue.New s*x interactions.New moments with Dexter’s Mom.More reasons to spend time with one of Edgeville’s most important characters.

This update will include enough new content to bring Dexter’s Mom all the way up to:

Level 8 — “Sneaking Around”

And yes.

You’ll get ALL the benefits that come with that level.

Dexter’s Mom is finally getting a major content push, and this is where the new framework starts showing what it was built for.

The next release is going to feel different.

❤ Thank you to all of my supporters. You guys have been providing financial support because you believe in this project. Some people have believed in this project and have been with me since the beginning. Some just started supporting it. You're all amazing. You'll be getting rewards based on how much support you've given me. I really want to say thank you and I'll figure out how to make that happen for you. Thank you for trusting me.

Get ready.
