I've been wanting to learn many things at the same time, but I think it would be better to focus on one, so I would like to know which one interests you the most.
Option 1 — 2D Animation
I can start small (loops, expressions, short scenes) and slowly make it more ambitious without completely changing what I post.
Goal:Create at least 3 finished 2D animations during the year (even if they’re short).
In theory, this one shouldn’t reduce my normal illustration schedule much—animation would mostly be an extra project running alongside my usual posts, also patreon don't let me post videos so i should figure out where post them.
Option 2 — 3D Modeling
I can make 3D render and maybe animations and possibly even mods (like outfit edits or model swaps).
Goal:(renders, turnarounds, close-ups, scenes).
Risk of spending a lot of time “fixing” .
Some posts might shift from “illustration” to 3D renders. Depending on complexity, I may need occasional slower weeks.
Option 3 — Game Development
This would be the most ambitious option and the most different from my usual content, but also potentially the most interactive. I’d love to involve you more: ideas, votes, character designs, mechanics, story choices, etc.
Goal :Have a small playable demo or game by the end of the year.
Community involvement could be really fun (polls, decisions, design input).
This has the biggest learning curve (design + programming +art) so it would likely require reducing the number of illustration posts to stay realistic.
Option 4 — Comics / Manga
Why it’s exciting:Comics/manga would let me develop my original characters more, you something with continuity more than single images.
Goal :Release at least one short manga/comic project this year using my original characters.
I may need to disappear for 1–2 months at some point to focus and finish it .I’d likely do fewer illustration posts during the production sprint, but the payoff would be a bigger release.
No matter what you pick, I’ll still keep making art this poll is mainly about what I should seriously study and build around next year. Thanks for helping me choose where to invest my time :)
