What a weekend ya’ll…found out at the end of the day Friday that someone stole my identity to take out a loan…had to wait till today to get the process going to hopefully fix this situation…so to vent, here’s a sketch of Elaina Marks’ fantasy of punishing Jack McGee for causing the explosion in the southwest lab…
Which leads me to my take on Elaina’s mindset leading up to becoming a She-Hulk…pt. 1
….she wakes from the coma, David is gone, frustration from a lack of closure….She sees a Hulk headline in the National Register, confirms David is still alive and his identity as the Hulk is her secret alone …Elaina has to go through physical therapy to rebuild her muscles, has to use crutches..more frustration…she remembers Jack McGee hiding in the closet where the explosion originated…blames McGee for the explosion and interrupting the research into curing David…holds a seething grudge against Jack…fantasizes about becoming a hulk and having her revenge. She returns to work in the meantime. Restarts the strength research but is using it as a cover to find a cure for David. She becomes obsessed with the Hulk, begins fantasizing sexually about the creature. Ed (associate at Culver Institute, he gave David the year’s gamma readings) is the new head of the Culver Institute. Informs Elaina the Institute is closing down soon and the x-ray machine will be dismantled and shipped off to “a brainchild on the west coast.”…
..and Wednesday, I will have Elaina’s journey to the SheHulk pt 2 as well as more art.
