So here’s one option of two I have so far…
Option one:
Culver Institute is closing down…last chance for Elaina to make herself a hulk in order to find the cure…though joining David on the run as a hulk is also acceptable…
David subjected himself to 1,900,000 gamma units for 15 seconds…he had a high abnormal adenine and thymine count in his blood…Elaina tests her blood…slight abnormality in adenine and thymine count…she decides to compensate with a longer gamma exposure…45 seconds at 1,900,000 gamma units…
So if you watch the pilot episode…the xray machine swivels until the user is inverted, David’s feet are pointing at the ceiling…Elaina would be the same…during exposure, security threatens to break into the locked lab and stop the machine…as she is trapped in the inverted chair, her adrenaline surges during the exposure and she hulks out in the chair at the end. She just wrecks the chair getting out, not the machine itself.
Option two:
Elaina lures Jack McGee to an isolated place outside city limits…say an old factory….with promise of information on the hulk…lit with gas lamps…burns the palm of her hand to purposely hulk out in front of him…she has Jenn Walters like cognizance…grabs Jack, tells him to leave The Hulk and her alone, and leaves Jack stranded. She makes it to the city first, and visits the National Register, informing them she has no information on the Hulk, accuses Jack McGee of stalking, and threatens legal consequences, shakes hands with the editor and leaves…Jack makes it back to the NR in the afternoon and tells the editor there now two Hulks, and one is Elaina Marks. The editor tells of Elaina’s visit and says her hand was not burnt as Jack claims it would be. Hulk healing factor here. With no evidence, the editor now thinks Jack has lost it.
That’s what I’ve got so far, not set in stone, I will probably revise it, or combine the two...either way, more ART tomorrow!
