Today I'm back with an update on everything I've already finished and what I'm currently working on. And it's a lot!
So let's start slowly...
Character Editor
I've added several new moles with different patterns of beauty patches to the character editor. I've also updated the mole settings to include the option to move them vertically and horizontally, allowing you to create beautiful and unique looks.
One-Hand Mode
Since this was often requested and I also think it's a great addittion I added a one-hand mode to the game. You can active it under controls in the settings. If activated, you can control all your movement and interactions with the mouse without the need to use your keyboard.
You can then move forward by holding the right mouse button, interact with objects (including all doors) and the girls with the left mouse button. The ingame menu is toggled by clicking the mouse wheel (or middle mouse button). For those of you who have no middle mouse button: this new mode adds to the existing controls, so you can entirely also use the keys as already defined.
This new way of movement gives you the opportunity to play the whole game with just your mouse. So you have your other hand free for your... phone.
Eye-Control
When the girls stand in front of you, they look you in the eyes. That’s great! But I wanted them to behave more realistically when they’re idle. That’s why I added an effect that makes their eyes move randomly. Now, when they look at you, they scan your entire face. Their eyes can now wander from your eyes to your mouth, your neck, your nose - and back again. So there’s no more stiff staring, they move their eyes just like any person does in real life. The effect is subtle - no doubt about it - but it really adds to the girls’ appearance and realism.
But that's not all! I've also implemented something I've always wanted to add to the girls: their eyelids now move in sync with their eyes. That means, for example, when the girls look down to admire your boner, their eyelids move down too, just like in real life. Even when they look you in the eyes, the random eye movement creates this nice little effect where their eyelids move along with them. I really like this, as it adds more realism to their faces. Implementing this effect almost drove me crazy, since so many parameters come into play when controlling the eyes (-> technical, boring bullshit), so I hope you like it too. I’ve also taken a screenshot to show you the difference before and after adding the effect which is huge in my opinion. I still need to experiment with this effect a bit to get the most out of it, but I'm already glad it's included now.
Expanding the Touch System
Surely the most ambitious development effort of the past few weeks was definitely the expansion of the newly introduced touch system. As a master of seduction, you shouldn’t be limited to just touching, groping, and caressing - you should also be able to use the girl’s body openings. So at first I’ve created animations that let you finger the girl's pussy.
Syncing the hand animation with the rest of the body was really tough. I had to try out different techniques to figure out which one worked best. I recorded a short video so you can see the result HERE.
Completely off-topic: My granny died a few weeks ago. We had a good relationship, she lived to a ripe old age (95) and had a good life - so I’m fine with that. But I have the photo from her ID card laying on my desk, because I still need to scan it. Ever since I put it there, I haven’t even noticed the photo.
When I finally experienced the moment I had finished the fingering animation, I let my eyes wander in joy across my desk - and suddenly that picture caught my eye. So there I was, with the finished pussy fingering animation on my screen and my grandma's picture right next to it. And I swear, I could see a slight grin on her face, as if she wanted to say: "Looks nice. Well done, grandson!"
I swear, that was the most bizarre moment I've experienced lately.
Climax Meter
I've also added a "climax meter", or whatever you want to call it. There will be moments when you'll need to caress or finger the girl at a pace she enjoys. If you go too fast or too slow, she won't like it. If you do everything right, the climax meter will raise and she'll reach climax and cum. I'm not sure yet, but there might be a third progress bar added. I need to wait and see how it feels in the game once I integrate everything into story mode. That’s my next step.
So I think those are all the new features. I'm going to finish their integration now and then put everything to use in a nice new chapter with Amber.
Misc
Oh, and before I forget: Some of you really love the songs from the boombox and have asked me for the titles and so on. They’re all royalty-free, but I don't remember their original filenames anymore. So I've put them all together for you. You can download them HERE.
