MELR0210 #98 90210's "Greek to Me" and Melrose Place's "St. Valentine's Day Massacre"

It's the June edition of our 1990's SoCal-set primetime soap opera recap show, MELR0210, and we're talking about college Greek life with our California U friends, and a ton of other crazy crap over at everyone's favorite apartment complex!

First up on Beverly Hills, 90210, it's "Greek to Me." Originally airing September 29, 1993, this episode has the gang breaking their backs trying to figure out if they want to join fraternities and sororities! We've got Brandon thinking about dipping his toe into on-campus politics in a weird Manchurian Candidate situation, Dylan laying around doing nothing, Steve Sanders freaking out about the little amount of time Brandon is spending at K.E.G. house, David and Donna being terrible on the radio, Brenda and Brandon complaining about how they're too cool for Greek life, Andrea being told left and right that she should only join a Jewish sorority, and Kelly dealing with the demons of her past as she re-meets an old flame, John Sears!

Then, across town on Melrose Place, it's the pretty outrageous episode, "St. Valentine's Day Massacre." Premiering back on February 13, 1995, we've got Jane and Jake starting to flirt... on their way to break Sydney out of Martin's cult, Amanda dealing with Billy and Alison as they realize she's starting to falter with her D&D duties in the face of her medical treatment, and Matt getting Jo involved in his dealing with our Gay Maniac Cop, Detective Rawlings, who winds up putting Jo in a really tight spot!
