Tall or Grande? 🥤
It can be a struggle to come up with unique ideas for winners of the character polls!
However, for King Neptuna, the idea washed over me like a cool wave in the middle of a hot summer! 🌊
Perhaps I was inspired by how often I find myself at Starbucks working on pages! 😂
By the way, I did consider make my take on the iconic mermaid logo more like the current flat color design...
But eventually I found what I was looking for with the original 16th century Norse woodcut twintail siren! 🧜🏻♀️
And you know what, there are far too little classic depictions of male presenting versions of the mythical creature. 🧜🏻♂️
So believe me, I'm more than happy to fill in the gaps when I can, here and now!
