Anybody here a watcher of the anime Mushoku Tensei? Unfortunately, I am not one of them, but recently this fantasy/action anime made my head turn and eyes widen with a pretty awesome KO (both the actual KO and the aftermath) in the recently-released Episode 2 of the series' current 3rd Season.
So in Mushoku Tensei: Jobless Reincarnation Episode 2, we have three female leads in a dojo situation- Nina, Eris and Isolte. There are a couple of quick sparring duels, the second one being a sudden and instant victory and KO scored by Nina on Isolte.
The KO is pretty unexpected, since Isolte seeme pretty skilled and superior, but she is pretty much instantly put to sleep by Nina's speedy attack. The scene proceeds with some dialogue between some other characters, all the while with an unconscious Isolte on the floor, with a couple of wonderful shots of her.
The wrinkles though are that while Nina and Eris are dressed in Gi-type outfits and barefoot (lots of barefoot shots of Eris throughout the episode as well), Isolte is in a hakama outfit and wearing tabi (the Japanese-style socks withe the toe gap). We also don't see Isolte in full as she's lying on the floor.
So thanks to Grok Imagine we fixed these, giving us a full body view of the unconsciuos swordswoman, and also taking the liberty of taking off her tabi so we can see her sleepy bare feet. We have two clips for each of the two shots of the unconscious Isolte, all in all 4 nice shots- I think Clips 3 and 4 are the better ones, but I like all four.
Sadly I don't think we'll see this dojo scenario too much but it was a nice scene. We don't get enough KOs like this for some reason in anime, so when they come we should enjoy them. Stay tuned for more Barefoot KO content soon!
