Streetfighter 6: Yasmine's KO Pose is My New Favorite

DESCRIPTION

Well, the saying 'Everything Comes to He Who Waits' is true after all- after weeks of waiting and anticipation, today we are finally getting full match videos for the upcoming addition to Streetfighter 6's roster, Filipino knife-fighter and martial artist, Yasmine!

So IGN, Gamespot and various Japanese channels have so far posted videos on Youtube so there's now quite a bit of Yasmine gameplay being shown off (mostly CPU Mirror Matches). But of course, they won't be focusing on what we love- which is Barefoot KOs of our cute and deadly slasher.

So, using Grok Imagine, I took a screenshot of Yasmine in her actual KO pose, then cleaned it up to remove the onscreen supers/graphics (you can see the original screenshot after the cleaned-up image). What can I say but YEEEESSSS- finally we get a good face-up KO pose for a babe, not another on-the-side KO like we've seen too often before. I expected this, as Yasmine is obviously a bit of a tomboy and an All-In, energetic character- very much like our karate fave Makoto- so this pose is more suited to her. Yasmine is on her back, both legs extended, arms up- its a good pose that's not overdone and transitions well from attacks and supers. Best of all, this pose can easily be tweaked to other KO poses using RE Framework.

For now, via Grok Image to Video, I've done up several videos showing off Yasmine's KO pose for you all. Clip 1 shows her KO pose then ends with a very nice closeup of her beautiful sole. Clip 2 is similar, but despite being supposedly unconscious, Yasmine moves her legs closer together for a nice view of both soles, before the camera settles on one foot- this was an unintended vid that turned out pretty nice. Finally, Clip 3 is our attempt to get the camera to fly around Yasmine in a circle while she's out cold on the floor at the Pao Pao Cafe- not perfect, but good enough.

We'll have loads of Yas in action (and in KOs) once she arrives in early August and joins the fight in SF6. For now, enjoy the clips and stay tuned for more Barefoot KO content.
