The 1st episode of my isekai series. Leans heavily into phantom sense and RP with little hypnotic vibes. requires being attuned into phantom sense, doesn't require any other trigger.The shop keeper of beginner town notices you are completely broke, but want to get some sort of weapon to start your fantasy journey, she proposes another way to pay for the product, you will be her model, trying out her new armor creation before being paid with a small dagger. You naturally try to close your eyes, and shield them with your arms
As you feel the light and ringing fades slowly
You're met with chatters and variety of footsteps,
some loud, some quiet, some light, some heavy
Curious you slowly open your eyes…
In front of you is a bustling market, with a variety of vendors
Selling fresh and also dried goods..
Many of the people are, as the Goddess had promised, of varying fantasy races
You see a few with long ears, a few with cat like ears and tails..
Some with scales and even a few that are green and purple skinned…
The vendors shouting to get the attention of those that pass by them
And you can see a few haggling with other vendors
Children who giggle happily, a few running around gleefully chasing each other
A few entertainers using simple magic to float objectssome can also be seen using transformation magic to catch the attention of children
You really have been transferred into a different world…
The buildings seem quite… old, well closer to medieval seems to be a more fitting word
Most of them seem to be built out of wood and stone,
However they're not shoddily made, you can tell the carpentry skills of this world is quite capable
No one seems to notice or care that you just appeared out of thin air,
How curious..
As you explore the bustling market you overheard a few shopkeepers who seem worried about something..Curiosity got the best of you, so you approach them and ask what troubles them.They look at each other and sigh. Well.. lately the amount of slimes east of the city has been multiplying at quite the fast rate.They worry it might affect business if a slime queen emerges.
Determined to go on your first adventure and see a slime for the first time, you eagerly ask them where is the nearest weapon shop.As they point to a large building that seem to resemble closer to a house than a store you march excitedly towards it. Upon arriving you notice the building does have a sign with two swords as its symbol, alongside a foreign lettering that you immediately understood that it says “weapon shop” somehow.
As you enter the shop, the door opening creates a little bell jingle as you hear a very relaxed and slightly lazy greeting.
“Ooh~ Welcome, welcome…feel free to browse around, let me know if you have questions..”
You start looking around, glancing at all the weapons that this shop offers.Swords, shields, bows… daggers.. Which one will you choose~?Well, there's good news and bad news…The good news is at least the currency seems straight forward, the numbers are just numbers you've always been familiar with…
The bad news however… well… The Goddess didn't actually give you any money to spend.
You pat yourself down, your pockets are empty, you're not wearing any jewelry, not even a nice belt..The noises you created made the shopkeeper take notice of you...
