Hi everyone :)
This week we're returning to our Monster Festival! When we created this map, we wanted to give the map the style of a European village fête. We thought it would be fun for the scene, to design an approach from a dark, looming, creepy forest but then create the juxtaposition of having bright lights, signs and a fun looking camp/fair in the distance.
This could make a nice scene to drop into your stories after a terrifying journey through the dark woods. When they feel like there's no escape from the monsters lurking nearby, they might just be lucky enough to stumble across this festival filled with fun!
