Shutting Down the Patreon

Effective Friday, April 12 at 12:00am ET (midnight), I will be deactivating my Patreon.

This means any content hosted on my Patreon will no longer be available to view. For those who haven't already, please download the past months' reward archives from my collection here.

A reminder that my past content is also available for purchase on my Itch.io!

As promised, I am also releasing the the tier changes for SubStar. If you want to read a simplified list of the changes, scroll down below to the full change list! Otherwise, prepare yourself for my ramblings.

The Long Version

The first major change I want to announce is the discontinuation of my monthly alts, which was part of the old Tier 2+ benefits. Ultimately, the process to create these alts limited the types of ideas and poses I wanted to draw. I would like to thank each and every one of you who subscribed to this Tier for your support, as well as those who purchased my content from Gumroad.

The next change concerns the OC Raffle. Previously this was a benefit only for Tier 4 Patrons ($25 USD tier) and the tier was limited to 15 slots; this created a situation where the pool of patrons stagnated as the limited slots made it very difficult to get back in once you left. To help address this and cycle in new members, I will be adding this benefit (now titled 'Sketch Request') to a lower tier as well. In addition, the method for selecting members will change from random to being chosen by me - this way I have more control over giving 'unlucky' members a chance.

By reducing the amount of tiers and streamlining the tiers, I hope to have more time to create content for SubscribeStar (personal artwork and not just commissions, etc) and deliver more value to you all.

Full Change List

General

• Removed monthly pinup poll and alts

• Removed weighted poll voting

• Polls will now be sporadic instead of a monthly event

• Removed Patreon-exclusive commissions (this benefit was not delivered on)

• Removed old tier 1 and pushed everything down a tier

• Removed shoutout benefit (Twitter/FA) for highest tier

New Tier 1 - $4 USD

• Access my art in full resolution

• Early access to personal artwork

• Access to my WIPs

• Discord Access

New Tier 2 - $9 USD

• All benefits from previous tier, plus:

• NEW: Sketch Request - submit your own OC or request fanart for me to draw

  • 1 submission per person; 2 will be chosen monthly

  • Quality will vary (at minimum will be a simple shaded sketch)

• Access to timelapse files (MP4)

• Access to source files (PSD)
  

New Tier 3 - $25

• All* benefits from previous tier, plus:

• CHANGED: Sketch Request - submit your own OC or request fanart for me to draw

  • 1 submission per person; 1-2 will be chosen monthly

  • Quality will vary (at minimum will be a simple shaded sketch)

  • *Tier 3 subscribers will not be eligible for the Tier 2 Sketch Request

• NEW: I will periodically ask for OCs/ideas to sketch (artistic freedom)

• NEW: Subscriber limit increased from 15 to 25 (subject to change)
