In case you missed it, last week's cover was Paint It Black by the Rolling Stones! Requested many times on patreon! Funny story about this... when I first started this channel, one of the first requests was from a friend of mine who said I should cover Paint it Black. I responded with "That band is so sick! I'd ove to cover one of their songs" and she was like "...... i mean the rolling stones song...." LOL
I didn't grow up on rock. I grew up on jazz, hip-hop, soul, R&B, etc. I kinda back doored into punk and hardcore through ska, so there's a lot of "classic rock" that was hella unfamiliar to me. But one of the fun things about this channel IS taking these requested songs that I might not know well that are apparently staples hahaha giving them fun twists when I don't have an attachment to the original is always fun! And I hope y'all enjoy it as well!
