This song is a total EAR WORM! I Started this cover a few weeks ago, and It has just been burnt into my brain ever since. Even when I was younger and this show aired this episode, I would sing it for days every time I saw the episode. The writers of this show truly understood the "one hit wonder" thing haha
speaking of, a little fun tidbit of this show. The original concept was imagined in 1993, and pitched to several networks like Cartoon network, nickelodeon, and fox kids. It was turned down for being "too complicated" and disney gave Dan the chance to prove the execs wrong, as it became a HIT and a staple for us younger millennials and gen z alike. Moral of the story is when people say things like your show idea (or ska) won't appeal, they're WRONG! FOLLOW YR PASSION!
Making ska music is such a niche, and as an artist, i'm told time and time again there's no room for growth in ska. YET people like you prove otherwise! I am able to do what I do THROUGH THE POWER OF SKA! through a supportive community both at shows and here on the internet! SO AS ALWAYS A BIG THANK U!!!!!
